My Story...

When I was in high school they offered a TV Studio class, teaching all of the basics of camerawork, composition, content, editing, etc. I mainly took the class just to treat it as a break period but the more I was there the more curious I got about the field. Soon enough, it dovetailed into me majoring in Film Studies and Production and minoring in Photography in college.

After I graduated, I had some difficulty getting myself started and got discouraged about my future doing film or photography. Just like anyone in my position, I had to find work and pay the bills. Although I had other jobs, I still kept myself involved more along the lines as a hobbyist. Anybody that looked at my work always asked me, "Why are you not doing this as a career?" Fast track a few years later and with lots of encouragement from my friends and family, I began to pursue this field again!

All of the work on this site is a small collection of projects I have done over the past several years. My specialty is mainly Landscape, Black and White Photography but I am certainly not limited to these styles. I have plenty of favorite photographers but most of my influences come from Ansel Adams, Geoffery Agrons, & Joel Tjintjelaar. I am always trying something new with the medium since I believe that is the only way to get better.

I will leave you all with a quote that easily sums up my passion...

“Look at every path closely and deliberately, then ask ourselves this crucial question: Does this pathhave a heart? If it does, then the path is good. If it doesn’t, it is of no use.” – Carlos Castaneda

Cheers!
